It’s snack time once again and today we are bringing to you a vegetarian snack recipe, perfect to go with your evening cup of tea. This recipe has a unique combination of cottage cheese, potatoes and some greens that gives it a distinctive taste. The ingredients are very simple and it is eggless.
INGREDIENTS
2 potatoes, boiled and mashed
100 gms cottage cheese, grated
1 chopped tomato
1 chopped onion
1 tbsp chopped curry leaves
1 tbsp dried fenugreek leaves
1 cup milk
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp cumin powder
Salt to taste
PROCEDURE
- In a glass bowl, mix all the above ingredients with milk in the end.
- Grease your hands with oil and make small balls of this mixture.
- Now dip these balls and layer them all over with some more breadcrumbs.
- Deep fry them in hot oil for 8-10 minutes until golden brown and crunchy on the outside.
- Serve hot with green chutney, ketchup or your favorite dip!
